NEAR Foundation Partners With Alibaba Cloud to boost Web3 Growth in Asia

The NEAR Foundation, the non-profit responsible for the ecosystem development of the NEAR protocol, has partnered with Alibaba Cloud, the computing and storage arm of the Chinese tech behemoth, to accelerate Web3 growth in Asia and the Middle East, the organization announced on Monday. The company stated that the partnership grants the NEAR Foundation access to Alibaba Cloud’s developer ecosystem in Asia and the Middle East in an effort to entice more developers to build on the NEAR protocol. Using Alibaba Cloud’s “plug-and-play” infrastructure as a service, developers who wish to establish new NEAR validators will be able to do so. According to a press release, the NEAR Foundation and Alibaba Cloud will offer remote procedure calls (RPC) as a service to developers and consumers in the NEAR ecosystem. Twitter will allow users to show NFT marketplace listings from specific platforms, including a button that will allow them purchase and sell collectibles. These listings will be displayed on Twitter. Twitter, a social media network, made the announcement today that, in cooperation with four different marketplaces, it will enable users to purchase, trade, and display non-fungible tokens (NFTs) directly through tweets. The integration, which is known as NFT Tweet Tiles, places an image of an NFT’s artwork in a separate panel that is contained within a tweet.
