Yuga Labs NFT-Powered Game, secrets of the Mara, Revealed

Legends of the Mara (LOTM) is an original 2D game that runs on ApeCoin. The game has the Otherside Koda collection and the Mara collection, which can evolve into Kodamara. Every Otherdeed holder starts LOTM by getting a Vessel NFT. The rest of the game is up to the player.

Tales of the Mara is a new 2D strategy game that looks into the history and legends of Otherside. Each person who owns an Otherdeed will get a free Vessel, which will grow into a Mara over time. A Koda can be given to or taken away from an Otherdeed. The game will be powered by Apecoin. Soon, the claim and decoupling periods will start, and the game will begin in May. The first step in playing LOTM is claiming a Vessel, which can be done by anyone with an Otherdeed, also known as a Voyager. For every Otherdeed they own, each Voyager can claim a Vessel NFT. Vessels are meteors that can hold a Shade and help defend the Otherside. During the claim period, each owner of an Otherdeed can claim one Vessel with one of three random functions (which begins in early April). Each Vessel needs a different amount of time to grow a Mara that matches its purpose. Claim Vessels will be sent to the Otherdeed wallet as separate ERC-721 tokens, along with a new smart contract/NFT collection. Trading systems can also be used to buy and sell ships.

What are Maras, anyway?

Maras are strange beings that can do simple things and come out of Vessels. Mara will come out of Vessels as Farmers, Hunters, or Enchanters, depending on what their role is. Maras ERC-721 tokens will be separate from Vessels’ tokens, and they will have a new contract/NFT collection. Once Maras have emerged, they can be bought and sold on trading systems.

What is Kodas’s job?

Kodas are the main people who keep Otherside safe. They are much better at hunting, enchanting, and farming than Mara or Kodamara. They can be given to an Otherdeed to do any of these things. More information about their roles will be given in future activations. If you are given the Hunter role, you will use Kodas with weapons and Mega Kodas in battle.

LOTM is a continuous 2D experience that is driven by the heaven-sent Odiac. Throughout the game, players can change their Mara into Kodamara, farm sediment, and protect their Otherdeed from new enemies. The LOTM platform is a great example of how NFTs and blockchain technology could change the gaming industry.

Is this going to be a game about making plans?
