TimeWarp NFT Launch Honors 50 Years of The Rocky Horror Show

Online Blockchain plc, which is a company that conducts research and development related to blockchain technology, has declared that it will soon release a collection of NFTs that have been influenced by The Rocky Horror Show. The initial NFT, TimeWarp, is scheduled to launch on OpenSea at 8 a.m. ET on June 19th.

The Rocky Horror Show is a really cool musical that mixes science fiction, horror, and rock music. It’s famous for talking about sex and being yourself. Since its debut in 1973, this thing has become a cultural phenomenon because of how the audience gets involved and how much people still like it. It started on stage and even became a cult film.

There are 50 NFTs in the collection that are based on the 50th anniversary of the famous show. The TimeWarp NFT, which is a new type of digital asset, features the iconic “blood drip” font that is associated with the famous stage show. The rarity, which is the first of its kind, will have a listing price of 0.1 ETH. The remaining 49 will come out as surprise releases at various times and prices over a two-week period through The Rocky Horror Show NFTs’ official Twitter and Instagram accounts.

If you have one of the 50 TimeWarp NFTs, you will get a free character pack. The Rocky Horror Show cast of characters is depicted in NFT renditions. Every student will have a set of nine unique NFTs that showcase different characters like Frank-N-Furter, Magenta, Riff Raff, and others. The NFTs are gonna be on the Polygon network and given straight to TimeWarp owners.

According to a press release, Clem Chambers, who is the CEO of Online Blockchain plc, stated that the TimeWarp NFTs provide access to The Rocky Horror Show’s growing Web3 storyline. Getting one at a good price will be very lucky. Chambers suggested that there is a plan for the future, stating, “We are starting an interesting adventure to develop a metaverse based on Rocky Horror for those who own our NFTs.”

On January 30th, 2023, Online Blockchain made an announcement about a global licensing agreement they entered with Interfishnet Limited. This agreement gives them the rights to The Rocky Horror Show’s intellectual property. The goal of this partnership is to create many different character NFTs. The Web3 world is a perfect place for The Rocky Horror Show, which celebrates individuality, self-expression, pleasure-seeking, and gender fluidity. It’s a timeless celebration that goes beyond generations, geography, and sexual ideologies.
